The Minneapolis St. Paul International (MSP) Airport has received national recognition for its architectural and design elements, not to mention its layout and service offerings. Many Minnesotans take MSP for granted, but our hometown airport is considered one of the best in the country. Why? What makes MSP so special?  The panel will explore recent developments at MSP, including the state-of-the art bathrooms, restaurant construction and development, and the new InterContinental Hotel. They will also share the nature and extent of the challenges they experienced during development, and provide perspectives on interfacing with the City of Bloomington and other Minnesota governmental bodies associated with the project.

Featuring

  • Bridget Rief, P.E., Vice President, Planning & Development at the Metropolitan Airports Commission
  • Liz Grzechowiak, Assistant Director, Concessions & Business Development at the Metropolitan Airports Commission
