Minnesota hosting Super Bowl LII was an exciting event in our state’s history. A tremendous amount of commercial real estate development happened in the months and years leading up to the event. Hotels, event centers, restaurants and other commercial developments were built and/or renovated in order to ensure that Super Bowl LII was as successful as possible.

What did Minnesota learn from the real estate development that took place in the time leading up to the Super Bowl LII? How are those properties and businesses being used today?  This panel will explore lessons learned from Super Bowl LII, how Minnesota’s hosting of that event changed the downtown Minneapolis commercial development landscape, and how these changes will affect our community in the future. The panel will also discuss some of the exciting events that Minnesota can expect in 2019 and beyond as a result of Minnesota’s decision to host Super Bowl LII.
