MNCREW remains committed to providing opportunities to learn together even while we are separated by distance. We know this is a difficult time for many in our community, and are offering this webinar free of charge for members and non-members.
Join us as we explore the complexities of developing historic properties. The panel will outline the regulatory agencies that may have jurisdiction on the interventions, alterations, and additions to properties/buildings that are locally designated and listed in the National Register of Historic Places and how that jurisdiction can affect a development project. We will also highlight the Federal Historic Tax Credit and the Historic State Tax Credit, discussing the review process, recent policy changes, and potential policy changes arising from the current legislative session. We'll bring the pieces together by highlighting two local projects: the recently completed Canopy by Hilton and the planned redevelopment of the Fort Snelling Upper Post.
